A new collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment and the Call of Duty will bring iconic mechs from the Gundam series into the game – in spirit anyway. Inspired by the towering mecha that have captivated fans for generations, the current generation of Call of Duty games will be introducing new content based on legendary Mobile Suits. These additions will be available as Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves, and more, covering fan favourites such as the RX-78-2 Gundam with its Beam Rifle and Shield, Char’s MS-06S Zaku II with its Heat Hawk, and the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial with its Aerial Rebuild Beam Rifle.
The Mobile Suit Gundam Legends bundles will begin rolling out in June for a limited time. During the event, players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be able to earn Gundam-themed progression rewards, including a Weapon Blueprint, Weapon Camo, Vinyls, Stickers, Emblems, Weapon Charms, and Calling Cards.
Three Gundam Tracer Packs will be available for purchase during the event, each celebrating a different Mobile Suit:
- Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – RX-78-2 Gundam: Features Amuro Ray’s classic Mobile Suit, complete with in-game weapon blueprints for the Beam Rifle, Beam Saber, and RX-78-2 Shield. It also includes the Newtype Finisher finishing move, a Haro weapon charm, and more.
- Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – MS-06S Zaku II: Highlights Char Aznable’s Mobile Suit, equipped with the Zaku Machine Gun, Heat Hawk melee weapon, and Warship Destroyer rifle. This pack also includes the Searing Slash finishing move and various Zeon-themed items.
- Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – XVX-016 Gundam Aerial: Inspired by The Witch from Mercury, this pack features Gundam Aerial’s Beam Rifle, Aerial Rebuild Rifle, and Escutcheon, along with items depicting key figures from the series including a Suletta and Miorine weapon vinyl, Gundam Calibarn weapon sticker, Holder Mark weapon charm, and “The Witch and the Bride” loading screen.
These Mobile Suit Gundam Tracer Packs will be available for purchase beginning in June.
