From today until June 4 AEST/NZST, players have the opportunity to access Destiny 2 expansions Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen at no cost. PlayStation Plus members are additionally granted access to the Lightfall expansion. These expansions introduce features such as the Darkness subclasses Stasis and Strand, three additional raids, and obtain/use new exotic weapons and gear.
Furthermore, all Seasonal content from Destiny Year 6 is also accessible for free until the same date. This includes Season of Defiance, Season of the Deep, Season of the Witch, and Season of the Wish. Players can retain any weapons and gear earned during this period, even if they don’t retain access to the content afterwards.
In conjunction with this free access period, a promotional sale on Destiny 2 catalogues, including the Lightfall + Annual Pass bundle, is available starting today. The sale is available on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Epic Games Store, and will commence on May 22 AEST/NZST on Steam. This campaign will run until the Free Access Month concludes, to be followed by the launch of The Final Shape the day after.
Additionally, the PvP Map pack, part of Destiny 2: Into the Light, has been released, introducing three new maps to the Crucible. This update includes a new wave-based defensive activity called Onslaught, iconic weapons in both standard and limited-edition variants, a new social space titled the Hall of Champions, updated versions of The Whisper and Zero Hour Exotic missions, a new raid boss gauntlet named The Pantheon, and additional rewards. All Destiny 2 players have access to this latest content.
