During the recent Triple-I Initiative digital showcase event, Pathea Games were in attendance with news that their charming school management simulation game, Let’s School, will be casting off its PC exclusivity and coming to Nintendo (Nintendo Switch), PlayStation (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5) and Xbox (Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S) consoles later in 2024. As you can see from my February 2024 review of the game’s PC release, it is a fun, charming and amply complex simulation game experience well deserving of exploration on other platforms.
In Let’s School, players build and run their own high schools acting as sole school principal/headteacher where they have the power to erect buildings, craft curriculums in a range of different subjects, hire and fire teachers, customize everything from school decorations to student uniforms, create and manage after school clubs and lots, lots more. The goal? The same as with most schools: guide students from potential mediocrity to academic superstardom.
The game’s PC community has new content to look forward to in the interim. A free update has gone live today, titled ‘Riverside Haven’, which adds gamepad / controller support, bug fixes and quality of life improvements in response to community feedback. Additionally, a new DLC ‘Water Towns Furniture Pack’ is available today for $3.99 / £3.39 / €3.99 or local equivalent. This east-asian inspired content offers headmasters two new special facilities (Tai Chi Institution and Traditional Chinese Dessert Shop) to construct, two new recess activities, over 100 new furniture items, more clothing for students, six new products to craft and more.
