Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer SHIFT UP Corporation has confirmed that a demo version of the PlayStation 5 exclusive action-adventure game Stellar Blade will be available on the PlayStation Store starting 30 March 2024 – ahead of the game’s release on 26 April 2024.
The demo drops players at the very beginning of the game, introducing Eve from the 7th Airborne Squad, who is on a mission to reclaim Earth from the Naytiba. This initial part of the game, up to the first boss fight, includes a tutorial phase designed to help players get acquainted with the basic combat features as they navigate through Eidos 7, a post-war human city now overrun by the Naytiba.
The Stellar Blade demo aims to provide an immersive experience, and also showcasing smooth 60fps combat and the haptic feedback of the DualSense wireless controller. Players who complete the demo stage will have the opportunity to carry over their save data to the full game, continuing from the last checkpoint saved on their PS5 system. There is also said to be a “little surprise” included for players who complete the first stage.
The demo for Stellar Blade will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, starting 30 March 2024.
