CIG Share Preview of What They Call “The Future of Gaming”, StarEngine
With how long development has been going on for Chris Roberts' magnum opus, Star Citizen and its single-player campaign Squadron 42, some jokes over the years about hoping to be alive when the game is fully realised or even hopes that one's children may be able to enjoy the games have been somewhat understandable. But with indications that Squadron 42 may not be all that far away, and that some much anticipated technologies are closer to getting incorporated into the game, it is also understandable that Cloud Imperium Games would want to showcase their work. This has been accomplished in a recently released trailer on the official Star Citizen website, showcasing the game's 'StarEngine', described as "The innovative suite of tools and technologies breathing life into Star Citizen and Squadron 42".
