Following its release on virtual reality platforms over the last couple of years, including the PlayStation VR2, the team at WanadevStudio has released Ragnarok on the PC. Available as a standalone purchase or as a free update, the rock/metal theme rhythm game offering so much Viking-age charm is now accessible to more players than ever – now supporting the use of the traditional keyboard-mouse combo or gaming controller to drum your way through over 70 songs including DLC.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that the song line-up has been expanded, with six new tracks featured in new Sabaton DLC. This pack, true to its name, features six tracks from the Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton, and includes the following songs: Resist and Bite, To Hell and Back, Stormtroopers, Seven Pillars of Wisdom, Steel Commanders and Night Witches. In addition to these new tracks, players will be able to enjoy a dedicated environment, a drakkar and a pair of hammers. This paid DLC comes in at $6.99 USD or local equivalent. Check out the DLC via the trailer below:
In Ragnarock, players take on the role of Viking captains in a frantic longboat race. Equipped with their hammers, they must strike runes in rhythm to a musical register ranging from Celtic rock to power metal, in order to drive their ship as far as possible.
Ragnarok is now available to purchase via a number of platforms including Steam (for PC and VR), the PlayStation Store (PSVR2), Meta, Pico and Viveport.
