While we have not heard much about a future mainline instalment in the Persona series – namely Persona 6 – there are strong indications and leaks indicating that we could see a remake of Persona 3 and a new tactics game revolving around the cast of Persona 5 in the works. Especially regarding the former, this comes only a short while after the current-gen port of Persona 3 Portable. The source of this leak is purportedly ATLUS’ own Instagram channel, where eager-eyed fans nabbed peeks at what are being known as Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica.
You can see the trailers, shared by fansite Persona Central, below. If one were to hazard a guess, both of these trailers are potentially going to be displayed during the upcoming Xbox Showcase. As with other trailers showcased during such events for all publishers – does not imply any form of console exclusivity until a formal announcement is made – but I would expect releases on the PlayStation 5, PC and potentially the Nintendo Switch as well.

While The Otaku’s Study was not on Instagram when the purported leak occurred, it is clear that these trailers are of an incredibly high standard with music feat. vocals from Lotus Juice and Lyn Inaizumi, while the Persona 5 Tactica trailer also features English voice acting. Therefore I would argue there is a very low probability this is a hoax.
