Eternights Receives September 2023 Release Date

Developer Studio Sai has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming game, Eternights, during the PC Gaming Show. Eternights, seeks to deliver a blend of dating simulator and monster-slaying action in its gaming experience, is scheduled to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on 21 September 2023. Additionally, the studio announced that pre-orders for the game on both PC and PlayStation consoles are open from today.

For PC gamers eager to dive into the world of Eternights, Studio Sai is offering an early opportunity to embark on the adventure during the Steam Next Fest, set to commence 19 June 2023. During this event, players will have access to a playable debut of the game, allowing them to get a taste of what’s to come in the full release.

The gameplay trailer, available to view above, presents a glimpse into the story and world of Eternights. The plot unfolds as a mysterious event wreaks havoc on the world, morphing individuals into vicious monsters and surrounding the protagonist’s city with towering walls. The protagonist, after losing an arm, acquires a mystical shapeshifting appendage that bestows upon him powerful abilities. With this newfound power, the player must navigate through a crumbling world, battling monstrous foes, and simultaneously attempting to maintain a semblance of a normal life, which includes going on dates.

Eternights seeks to deliver a gameplay experience that balances intense combat with social elements. Players will venture into perilous dungeons and face real-time battles against formidable creatures. Leveraging the magical powers granted to the protagonist, players can execute stylish combos and join forces with survivors. Alongside the action, players must also manage time to develop relationships and partake in mini-games. The game challenges players to find equilibrium between the pursuit of romance and the quest to find a cure to save the world from the monstrous apocalypse.

Eternights is coming to star-crossed lovers on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC (via STEAM and the Epic Games Store) platforms starting 21 September 2023.
