Even though E3 will not be taking place this year, major video game companies still appear to be using its typical timeslot as an opportunity to make some (potentially) major announcements. From Microsoft’s Xbox Team, that is due to take the form of a double-feature livestream on Monday 12 June 2023 @ 3AM (AEST) or Sunday 11 June 2023 @ 10 AM PT for those in many other time zones.
The double-feature will first consist of a main Xbox Games Showcase, where the Xbox Team and their associated studios will be showcasing news and updates about games coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and their cloud gaming offerings.
As stated by Joe Skrebels, Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief:
Join us for some new surprises and first-looks from our incredibly talented internal studios, and our many creative partners around the world. This is the day gamers have been waiting for to see what is coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass.
This stream will be followed by a special Starfield Direct from Bethesda HQ immediately after – with promises of “tons of new gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes insider information”.
You will be able to watch both streams through a number of different platforms, including Youtube, Twitch and Facebook. A special American Sign Language stream will also be offered on Twitch.
