Konami has this morning announced their planned release of special physical editions for GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon on Nintendo Switch, set to launch starting 14 July 2023. Previously available exclusively in digital format, the game will now be offered in two distinct physical editions, both of which will include an artbook, soundtrack, and the original 1987 Famicom Getsufumaden game.
GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon sets out to offer a unique blend of intense hack-and-slash action and a stunning dark fantasy world, inspired by traditional Japanese art. The game’s ukiyo-e style art direction is their big drawcard in separating it from other games in the roguelike genre, presenting a world that is both beautiful and deadly.
The Standard Edition, priced at $69.95, will be available for the Nintendo Switch and includes a Nintendo Switch game cartridge, digital mini artbook, digital mini soundtrack, and the original 1987 Famicom GetsuFumaDen game. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $99.95, also for the Nintendo Switch™, will offer the same contents as the Standard Edition, with the addition of a physical full hardcover artbook, a physical full soundtrack (2xCD), and three art cards.
