Needing to continue the game through promised DLC, Square Enix has released Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust, a new prequel story for their action-RPG Forspoken, which released on the PlayStation 5 and Windows PC earlier this year.
The new DLC serves as a prequel to Forspoken’s main game. It sees Frey in pursuit of a solution to annihilate the Break completely, a quest that transports her to Athia’s past. Alongside Tanta Cinta and a new arsenal of magical abilities, Frey embarks on a mission to unearth the truth, save Athia once again, and potentially save herself.
In the Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust DLC, players will battle alongside Tanta Cinta and unlock new combat strategies to coordinate devastating attack combos against the invading Rheddig forces. With newly enhanced parkour abilities at her disposal, Frey will also be able to navigate new environments that are vertically designed.
The DLC can be accessed by players who own the main Forspoken game, which first launched back in January 2023. For those who purchased the Digital Deluxe edition of Forspoken, or the Digital Deluxe Upgrade, the new DLC can be redeemed via your chosen platform’s digital distribution platform. Standard Edition owners can purchase the DLC separately.
