As a sort of pre-Christmas discount, Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia has today announced a limited time sale until 20 December 2022. This will see the annual price of all three PlayStation Plus subscriptions dropped by $40.00. This discount is for the 12-month period, and is only available for new 12-month sign ups.
The PlayStation Plus Essential subscription which comes with the monthly free games, online gaming and a few other bonuses has been discounted to $39.95 for the entire year. The PlayStation Plus Extra subscription is more than double that price at $94.95, but offers access to an expanding library of titles from the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 eras. Finally there is the PlayStation Plus Deluxe membership for $114.95, which also comes with a library of classic games, although in my opinion, more needs to be done in building this library up in 2023.
All three tiers of PlayStation Plus subscription offers access to online gaming on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, monthly games for both platforms, discounts, cloud storage for save files and more.
