Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom Brings More Mascot Farming Adventures to Consoles

Iconic Japanese mascot, the cat-type robot Doraemon, is once again welcoming gamers to a new farming adventure, with today’s release of Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom, now available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam). Introducing elements from the Doraemon multimedia franchise to the casual farm simulation gameplay featured in Story of Seasons, players should expect to be taken to another relaxing environment boasting “realistic natural elements, such as weather, and changing seasons, designed with a delightful storybook feel” – watch firework displays, chase the sunrise, and create unforgettable memories with your friends on planet Illuma.

A unique element to Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom are the more than 80 “secret gadgets”. Players can use gadgets such as the “Hopter” and “Mini Raincloud” to build a farm in the clouds or use the “Adapting Ray” to go underwater and harvest pearls.

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has also confirmed that the game’s first piece of downloadable content titled ‘Winter Tales’, is now available for standalone purchase or as part of the game’s season pass. This set includes new outfits, a furniture set and an additional mini story, bringing a new season for Noby and friends to discover. Two additional pieces of DLC are expected over the coming months.
