Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Launching on Newest Gen Consoles Next January 2023

Following their previous announcement around plans to bring Cyberconnect2’s 2020 action-RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed when you will be able to nab yourself a copy. Being made available digitally and physically at the same time, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be available on new-gen consoles starting 13 January 2023, right on the tail end of summer school holidays.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot’s new gen release boasts faster loading times and “fluid gameplay up to 60fps, with added details for an even greater immersion into the world of Dragon Ball”. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the in-game card game ‘Card Warriors’ will also be available for the new-gen versions, and shall be implemented as an offline version for single players.

This announcement coincides with the release of a new trailer (above), giving gamers new and returning a peek into Dragon Ball Z Kakarot on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
