Ubisoft Make Trifecta of Announcements/Reveals for Tom Clancy Division Video Games

From the 10th season for The Division 2, the opportunity to take a first glance at the world of The Division Heartland and registrations opening for the mobile-exclusive The Division Resurgence, Ubisoft used their Ubisoft Forward exhibition livestream to make a trifecta of new announcements and reveals for the Division line of Tom Clancy video games. Scroll down to read the latest updates on the series:

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Season 10: Price of Power Update Goes Live 13 September

Featuring new difficulty options for Countdown Mode, two strongholds, quality of life improvements, apparel events, new story events, a new season pass and more – Season 10: Price of Power will launch for all The Division 2 Warlords of New York owners and Ubisoft+ subscribers starting 13 September 2022. This is the second of three seasons planned for The Division 2 this year.

According to Ubisoft, “the new season follows the story of the latest target to track down – General Peter Anderson. Hungry for power, and with the True Sons looking for direction after the fall of Antwon Ridgeway, General Anderson sees an opportunity to build a new team and take down The Division. General Anderson is brokering a peace with the Black Tusk and The Division must locate and neutralize Sokolova’s advanced team (Trig, Micro, Chirpy and Lucky) before the merger is complete”.

This new also came with confirmation that development isn’t over for The Division 2 just yet, with the team committing to Year 5 content for 2023.

Registrations Open for Future Closed Beta Tests of Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland

The free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter The Division Heartland will take players to small-town America in 2022-2023 on the PC, consoles and cloud platforms. Interested in taking part in a closed beta test for this game? Registrations are now open HERE.

This standalone free-to-play The Division game introduces new playable characters in a rural setting, far from the events in New York and Washington D.C. Silver Creek was once a pleasant town in the American Midwest, but it was left in ruins following the spread of the Dollar Flu. Players will take on the role of loyal Division agents from across the nation responding to a call for help. Fighting alongside and against other trained agents, players will explore the secrets of Silver Creek and provide hope to what remains of small-town America.

According to Ubisoft, the team at their Red Storm studio is “bringing a test-and-learn mindset to the development of the game, continually conducting test phases with the community to gather and implement feedback before moving to the next phase”, so at least in their words, fans participating in the beta may have influence over the future of the game.

Closed Beta Registrations Open for Mobile-Exclusive Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence

Registrations have also opened for closed beta testing of Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, a new third-person shooter RPG mobile game in the franchise which will take gamers on Android and iOS devices into Dark Zones. Those interested can also register their interest HERE.

This announcement follows alpha testing in July 2022, with Ubisoft describing the test as “successful” and with “players enjoying the graphics, gameplay and open world”. Furthermore, Ubisoft has claimed that players of the closed beta “will have a chance to participate in some of the familiar PvP modes in The Division franchise. This includes the Dark Zone, a unique PvPvE mode that features the city’s most dangerous enemies – but plenty of gear and equipment”. The Domination mode of the Conflict PvP mode will be available in Closed Beta testing, with Skirmish to be added at a later date.
