The region of the dendro element, part covered in thick jungle and part covered by desert, players of the open-world adventure game Genshin Impact can now log in and experience Sumeru as part of the major v3.0 update that just went live. Head to the quarry and travel west, as the thick expanse of forest welcomes you to this new content – offering new challenges, characters and narrative elements to uncover.
Genshin Impact is being developed by Hoyoverse (Formerly MiHoYo) as a mostly single-player (with online multiplayer elements) open-world adventure game reminiscent of the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilds, albeit having deviated into many of its own individual ideas and concepts. The game is available as a free download on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android platforms – and is supported via premium currencies and a wish “gacha” system.
