NieR:Automata: The End of YoRHa to Launch in October 2022 on Nintendo Switch

With releases on every other major gaming platform, one would have expected anyone interested to have already picked up and played NieR:Automata already. But if you are the exception and have been holding out for a Nintendo Switch release, your wait will be over in the coming months. Square Enix has confirmed that the NieR:Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition will go live worldwide for the Switch on 6 October 2022.

The physical edition will feature artwork by character designer Akihiko Yoshida on the front cover and will include new reversible box art featuring A2, designed by concept artist Koda Kazuma. This is notable as there does not appear to be much else content wise in this edition, unless you like a few Nintendo Switch exclusive DLC costumes/accessories for the playable characters – and two pod skins based on characters from the mobile spin-off game NieR Re[in]carnation.

So what do you get with NieR:Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition? You get both the base game which follows the tale of 2B, 9S and A2 as they fight against machine lifeforms to protect humanity, along with its 3C3C1D119440927 downloadable content which includes three colosseum battles and additional costumes.
