Ready for another video game experience in the Digimon multimedia franchise? Your wait is little more than a month, with Bandai Namco Entertainment confirming that the hybrid visual novel x tactical RPG experience, Digimon Survive, will be launching 29 July 2022 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).
Console version physical pre-orders are now open at supporting retailers, while it has also been confirmed that players pre-ordering or early-purchasing the game digitally will be eligible for a small boon of digital content, including Guilmon and HP Support Equipment.
Digimon Survive seeks to send players to a mysterious world filled with dangerous monsters and deadly battles that will test their ability to survive. Stepping into the shoes of protagonist Takuma Momozuka, players will have the ability to directly impact the outcome of their adventure via a variety of potentially grim choices, including how their Digimon evolve, the way they bond with NPCs, and more.
Digimon Survive will be available on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC starting 29 July 2022, although release dates may differ between some regions and territories.
