Latest Humble Bundle Supports JDRF In Their Battle Against Type 1 Diabetes

As someone who has had Type 1 Diabetes for more than two decades now, I can tell you that some days can get very tough. Depending on the control of my blood sugar, which can vary due to a range of internal issues and external pressures, my BSL’s can go dangerously low to the point I risk passing out, high to the point that my mood is completely out of whack, or zig-zagging between the two extremes.

But I am not sure to share my woes. Instead, I would like to encourage you to check out the latest Humble Bundle deal, titled the ‘Game Over, T1D’ pack, featuring games with links to the diabetes community and also pledging funds towards JDRF (The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) to assist with their research on improving the lives of those with Type 1 Diabetes and perhaps even discovering a cute.

Broken down into a single tier priced at $16.15 AUD or local equivalent, players will gain access to twelve games which share the direct connection to Type 1 Diabetes “through characters and themes, gameplay elements, or developers whose lives have been personally impacted”. These games include The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, We Happy Few, Sam & Max Save the World, Observation, Super Meat Boy Forever, Pine, Bartlow’s Dread Machine, Gauntlet Slayer Edition, Stories Untold, RAD, Super Meat Boy and Saturday Morning RPG.

While you can choose to split your donation between the publishers, JDRF and Humble however you like, BANDAI NAMCO, Beep Games, Inc., Critical Depth, Devolver Digital, and Kongregate will be donating their proceeds from this bundle to JDRF.

Kudos to Humble and all publishers involved in making this possible.
