A return of the Take That (In-Game) Snap series? After an approximate year-long hiatus, I have gotten that photographic itch once again, and started diving into different games and software to capture some interesting screenshots once more.
Starting with trusty Second Life, I did this small two-piece series depicting an unnamed character in the year 3000AD. They are a mechanical android girl known for charming gents of society’s underworld before discovering where they live and taking them out quietly. Here, she has found a secret passage used by a dangerous cult out of an otherwise normal-looking apartment block in the slums and is waiting to take out her targets as they leave their headquarters later that evening.
You can find both images below:
These screenshots use the following items:
Set: BACKDROP – Dark Stairwell 2 by Paparazzi
Character Head: Genus Baby Face
Character Hair: [^.^Ayashi^.^] Kikumi hair
Character Body: Maitreya Lara
Clothing/Accessories: Tentacio Andromeda Halo White, INORI – Ziva CombatSuit Pink, INORI – DMFS-0 Tatical Rifle Black&White
This latest screenshot was captured in Second Life from Linden Labs, and features a whole lot of stuff I have collected over the past year and a half. Second Life does have a reputation for more adult content (there is no shortage of that if you explicitly look for it). However, those interested in using it to build custom avatars and take great photographs will find a lot on offer from the user-created worlds, purchasable content for your avatars, a high level of customisation and clients dedicated to taking fantastic photos. Just beware that with high-quality content comes a potentially high real-world cost for digital assets.
