The Crew 2’s Fifth Season Commences Tomorrow With Free Update – American Legends

Still playing Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 into its fifth season? Ubisoft has confirmed that the first update to their open-world motorsports game in its new season will be going live tomorrow. This update, titled American Legends, will be launched simultaneously on all supported platforms – the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC.

As part of this free update, players will be invited to enter the Archives, a place where they will find souvenirs, diaries, and objects of characters from the past. All of these items are clues that can lead players to amazing buried treasures all over the USA. Players will choose the story they want to discover, travel the country in search of clues and add some of America’s most iconic vehicles to their collection. Each week, two new Stories will be available to all players for free, including on 16 March players can earn themselves the Porsche 550 Spyder.

As with every season of virtually every game with seasons, you can expect a new tiered ranking pass to be associated with the fifth season. The Motorpass offers 50 tiers of new rewards – split by free and premium (paid) levels – including vehicles such as the Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 2019 (Hypercar), the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Awaken Edition (Street Race), the Ford Mustang Fastback Stunt Edition (Street race) as well as vanity items, outfits, currency packs (Crew Credits and Bucks), and more.

This is not the final season of The Crew 2 either, with Ubisoft confirming that active development support has been renewed for another year. Year 5 will see the availability of three new seasons of content including new features, gameplay tweaks and technical updates. Somewhere in there will also be an exclusive update for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, bringing support for 60 FPS gameplay.
