Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Spouts Up For PC Farmers

With post-launch development now over for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town which first released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch earlier in the year, Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games has brought the farm/life simulation game to the PC via Steam. You can nab yourself a copy of the game at a regular retail price of $59.95 AUD (or local equivalent), with an expansion pass available for $29.95 AUD or bundled together with the game for $89.90 AUD. Until 23 September 2021, both the base game and the bundle are available for 10% off.

The PC version of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town offers a small selection of visual updates and customisation options dedicated towards the platform, and also includes all Nintendo Switch post-launch patches built into it. The PC version also releases with additional paid DLC costumes on offer – including the Buffalo, Fox, and Panda costumes as well as ‘Neil’s Jacket’—allowing you to dress up as everyone’s favourite anti-social marriage candidate.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town drops players into the titular town, a charming seaside community on the edge of the untamed frontier, where you will work to breathe life back into your grandfather’s dilapidated farm. Though it may at first appear to be a sleepy burg, Olive Town is home to dozens of unique characters to befriend when players are ready to take a break from building their dream farm—a farm where further exploration can yield magical lands where seasons never change, an island in the sky and possibly even a “unicorn” to ride.
