Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Joins PlayStation Tournament Open Series from Next Month

With a new month mere hours away from us, Ubisoft has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of their first-person shooter game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be joining the PlayStation Tournaments Open Series starting tomorrow. Through this partnership with the platform, Ubisoft seeks for this to assist them in developing “Rainbow Six Siege’s grassroots competitions, open to all with weekly and monthly tournaments hosted on the PlayStation 4 console”.

From tomorrow, players around the world will be able to engage in competitive Rainbow Six Siege gameplay through the following weekly online qualifiers:

  • Thursdays: Asia-Pacific, Latin and South America qualifiers
  • Fridays: Eastern Europe and North America qualifiers
  • Saturdays: Western Europe, North America and Middle East qualifiers

The top teams from each weekly qualifier will be eligible to compete in monthly finals. Themes, avatars, virtual currency and even cash prizes are on offer for those who either or both compete and walk away with victory.
