Featuring primals across the various Final Fantasy XIV base game and expansions, and serving as a debut of cards based on the tactical mobile game War of Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Square Enix has confirmed that the Opus XIV: Crystal Abyss set has launched for the official Final Fantasy Trading Card Game.
Cards in the new booster sets showcase brand-new artwork and original illustrations from multiple artists in the overarching Final Fantasy franchise. These artists include:
- Rubi Asami (DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY)
- Yasuhisa Izumisawa (WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY)
- Ryoma Ito (FINAL FANTASY TACTICS A2: Grimoire of the Rift / FINAL FANTASY XII)
- Akira Oguro (FINAL FANTASY IV)
- Isamu Kamikokuryo (FINAL FANTASY XII)
- Kumiko Koike (FINAL FANTASY XI)
- Gen Kobayashi (FINAL FANTASY / FINAL FANTASY EXPLORERS)
- Lisa Fujise (DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY)
- Toshitaka Matsuda (ORIGINAL)
The Opus XIV: Crystal Abyss also introduces three new “Legacy Cards”, Premium Full Art versions of highly sought-after cards from previously released sets:
