Two Point Hospital Receives Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Crossover Content

Two Point Studios are doing their part to help publisher SEGA celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their iconic Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. This will take the form of a new cross-over event in Two Point Hospital, which will see free through Sonic-themed costumes and items on all versions of the game – PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

Players will be given the option of dressing up their employees as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy. Which certainly must not be a horrifying prospect for anyone going in for, say, their psychology appointment. Increasing the Sonic spirit in the hospital, you will also be able to decorate your hallways and offices with items including a Sonic statue, decorative rugs and even a giant Gold Ring.

For us, it’s a dream come true to fully bring the joy of Sonic into our universe. With discounts and free trials coming up to coincide with the pack, there’s never been a better time to get involved.

Gary Carr – Studio Director of Two Point Studios

In addition to this announcement, Two Point Studios and SEGA have announced the following Free-to-Play and discount opportunities for Two Point Hospital:

  • Free to play on Steam from 30 July – 2 August. 75% off the base game and up to 50% off the DLC range from 30 July – 5 August
  • Free game trial on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch from now until 3 August. 30% off the base game and all DLC until August 8.
  • Gold Free Play Days on Xbox Live from now until 1 August. 30% discount on base game and DLC until 9 August.
