Their recent Maxpass+ livestream may be well and truly over, but there are still more than a few announcements making their way out of Devolver Digital HQ. One of the latest comes from the developer DANG!, who will be whirling their ‘Aerodynamic Adventure’ game, Boomerang X, which is now confirmed to be launching on the Nintendo Switch (via Nintendo eShop) and Windows PC (Steam) starting 8 July 2021.
This “First Person Boomeranger” will see players catapult themselves through the air, using the power drawn from fallen creates to slow time and cut through the swarms of dark beings with their razor sharp edges. The player and their trusty boomerang will travel through once bustling locales, sacrificed to hide a myth, and descend the Godpath into the lost realms below. Cleanse these halls and ensure that whatever lies beneath doesn’t come back.
