With Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny now available in Japan on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch (Switch-exclusive internationally this year), we have gotten our first look at the additional downloadable characters to be made available for purchase over the coming months.
Perhaps unfortunately, there is not much featured in the roster this time around, with it consisting of (with several exceptions) the main characters of Disgaea 2 through 5, in addition to Asagi and Pleinair. Continually-shafted series protagonists such as Mr. Shamploo, Yukimaru, Tink and Emizel will not be featured. However, protagonists of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness – Laharl, Etna and Flonne – are included in the game as postgame characters.

With the exception of Usagi, each character can be purchased for 500 yen each. They can also be purchased as part of a season pass, priced at 6,050 yen, which includes the characters and other goodies.
