White Day VR: The Courage Test Launches on PC Today

Previously only available as an attraction in South Korea’s VR Theme Parks, White Day VR: The Courage Test is taking its more than a year of live playtesting experience and being released on the PC from today – just in time for the spookiest day of the year! Developer SONNORI Corp and international publisher PQube will be offering the short VR game to purchase via the Steam Digital Storefront in 10 hours as of writing.

The newest instalment in the Korean cult classic video game franchise, White Day VR: The Courage Test will see players pitted against the clock as they return to Yeondu High School and find themselves undertaking the Occult Club’s escape room courage test. The only way to escape this nightmare is to find all hidden objects in five minutes, and breaking out of Classroom 1.1. Depending on the number of puzzles solved, objects collected and whether you escape or not – a number of different outcomes will unfold.

At the moment, White Day VR: The Courage Test will only be made available on PC virtual reality platforms, with no word on if/when it will be rolled out to others including the PlayStation VR.
