At the beginning of 2020, Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia kicked off the #PSPlusPlays skill challenge initiative. What does this entail? Each month, PlayStation Australia will set an online, in-game challenge for players to take on. Players must load up the featured title of the month, capture their attempt, and share it on Twitter with the hashtag #PSPlusPlays. The winners will obtain rewards specific to that game, although the overall grand prize of the “Ultimate PAX AUS 2020 weekend” might not be a thing anymore.
During the month of September, players are challenged to boot up Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 on the PlayStation 4 and capture their “highest Combo Mambo win”. The individual who submits what is deemed to be the best entry this month will receive a prize pack including:
- A Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Collector’s Edition
- A Tony Hawk Mini Fingerboard
- A #PSPlusPlays Champions Merch Pack including an engraved medal, a PlayStation Plus Branded Pin and Cap.
To reiterate, to be eligible for the prize, you must load up the game, capture your attempt and then post it on Twitter using the hashtag #PSPlusPlays.
