Have you yet to complete the full Shadowbringers expansion pack for Final Fantasy XIV Online, but are eager to jump right into the action when Patch 5.3: Reflection in Crystal commences on Tuesday 11 August 2020? Square Enix has today confirmed the following quests will need to be completed before jumping into the main scenario quest, giving you two weeks to complete them:
Requirement #1
Chronicles of a New Era – The Crystal Tower: The Light of Hope.
Requirement #2
One of the following sidequests: My Little Chocobo (Twin Adder), My Little Chocobo (Maelstrom) or My Little Chocobo (Immortal Flames).
This only covers the main scenario content. Other content being introduced into Patch 5.3 including the NieR: Automata-themed Alliance Raid dungeon, resistance weapon questline continuation, Chronicles of a New Era and the Faux Hollows trials will have their individual requirements – very likely based on previous progression.
