Given the chapter-by-chapter release cycle for Dontnod Entertainment’s cinematic narrative adventure video game Life is Strange 2, for those like myself who always prefer having a physical copy of a game in their hands, it is generally not practical while the series is still being developed. Similar to the approach taken with Life is Strange, with the final chapter “Wolves” bringing the tale to a close, Dontnod Entertainment and publisher Square Enix have begun offering a boxed “Complete Edition” on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
In Life is Strange 2, players will experience a story of two brothers, 16-year old Sean and 9-year old Daniel Diaz, who have to flee their home in suburban Seattle after a tragic event that changes their lives forever. Further complicating matters is the manifestation of an exciting new telekinetic power that has far-reaching implications for Sean and Daniel and puts pressure on the relationship between them. Life will never be the same again. The tale has been woven across five chapters released between September 2018 and December 2019 – Roads, Rules, Wastelands, Faith and Wolves.
The latest chapter, Wolves, sees Sean and Daniel on the home stretch – however to reach their destination, they will need to evade the police, FBI and vigilantes patrolling the border. Depending on your choices…. their journey will succeed or come to an unfortunate end.
