Many years have passed since Nippon Ichi Software America released their last Cladun game, Cladun X2, on the PlayStation Portable. More than half a decade from then, the publisher are preparing to publish another game in the series – Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku.
With the retro action RPG to launch on June 6th 2017 in North America and June 9th 2017 in PAL regions, we are now around one month until this title launches on the PlayStation 4 (physically and digitally), PlayStation Vita (digitally) and PC (Steam). Coinciding with this pre-release milestone, NIS America have shared a new batch of screenshots.
These screenshots primarily highlight the action which takes place within dungeons. However, they also highlight the character creation system and the in-game store UI.

About Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku
Set in Japan’s Sengoku Era, you wake up in the mysterious land of Arcanus Cella where the souls of the dead gather as they await reincarnation. However, some souls have unfinished business that needs to be settled before they can reincarnate. As the player, you will assist these souls by traveling to real-world locations in feudal Japan and fighting your way through dangerous dungeons filled with monsters and traps.
