RPG Maker MV Update Brings Support for Linux

Coinciding with their confirmation that the RPG Maker series has sold over 1,000,000 copies in western markets, western publisher Degica have announced that a new update for their latest piece of game development software – RPG Maker MV – now comes with support for Linux operating systems.

Complementing OSX support, which was a first for MV, this is the first time that an RPG Maker title has officially supported the each Windows, Mac and Linux systems. This update will also allow game creators to export their creations to Linux.

To mark this announcement, you can pick up RPG Maker MV today only for 60% off its retail price ($79.99 –> $31.99). During this period, select downloadable content for RPG Maker MV will also be available at up to 60% off.
