With a PAL region release to follow in a couple of days time, international publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have confirmed that the rogue-like RPG Touhou Genso Wanderer is now available for purchase on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita,
The company have complemented this announcement by confirming that all players will have access to three chapters over the coming weeks – the first of which will be available for free. These chapters are:
Momoji Inubashiri
Available Now
This content lets you choose Momiji Inubashiri as the player character
The Bullet Reporter
Available March 28th (US) and March 31st (PAL)
This content adds a story starring Aya Shameimaru and Momiji Inubashiri. After finishing the story, Aya can be chosen as the player character and Momiji can be chosen as the partner.
Futo Mononobe and the 7 Trials
Available March 28th (US) and March 31st (PAL)
This content lets you examine Futo Mononobe’s backstory, as she teams up with Tojiko Soga. After finishing the story, Futo can be chosen as the player character and Tojiko can be chosen as the partner.
ABOUT TOUHOU GENSO WANDERER
One day, Reimu Hakurei is visiting Rinnosuke Morichika at his shop, Kourindo. He shows her one of his prized possessions, the golden sphere. However, when she touches it, it unleashes a mysterious beam of light. Rinnosuke starts acting strange, and a giant tower now stands where Kourindo used to be. The population of Gensokyo has also been replicated by clones who attack people on sight. As the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, it is Reimu’s duty to resolve this latest incident and bring peace back to Gensokyo.
Along the way, she is joined by Futo Mononobe, who has recently set out on a quest to become a first class sage. With her partner in tow, can Reimu make her way through the dungeons of the tower and put an end to this incident?
