[Fallout Shelter] Vault-Tec Vault Builders and Overseers... Vault Construction Begins on the Xbox One 1

Since being both announced at and released during Bethesda Softworks’ E3 2015 press conference, Fallout Shelter has proven to be a pretty solid smartphone game – allowing players to step into the shoes of an Overseer at one of Vault-Tec’s vaults.

Fallout Shelter has primarily been available on smartphone devices (iOS and Android), although a PC version was eventually made available last year. In addition to updates however, the development team have been working on the game’s home console debut. And today, Bethesda Softworks confirmed that the Fallout spin-off / strategy game is now available for download on the Xbox One.

The Xbox One version of Fallout Shelter is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning that progress can be maintained across the Xbox One and the (also brand new) Windows 10 version of the game. Therefore, you can dedicate your time to building one prosperous underground Vault, whether you are on the couch in-front of the television or using a PC.

While there doesn’t seem to be much in terms of content or features exclusive to this edition, the game has been fully adapted to take advantage of the Xbox One controller.

About Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter thrusts players into the role of Overseer to build their own Vault, manage dwellers, and adventure through Fallout’s iconic wasteland. Since the game’s original launch in 2015, the game has continued to expand and add features, including Crafting, Scrapping, Pets, additional rooms, iconic Fallout 4 characters, and special Dweller customization options. The game’s constantly growing Quest system allows Overseers to send Dwellers out into the Wasteland to abandoned buildings, decrepit Vaults, and mysterious caves to uncover legendary loot and face off against enemies like Radscorpions, Ghouls, and powerful bosses.
