Two New Gaming Experiences Unveiled for Deus Ex Franchise

-

Continuing to expand the number of gameplay opportunities available to players within their Deus Ex video game franchise, Eidos-Montreal and Square Enix Montreal have unveiled two new projects in the works. These are known as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Breach and Deus Ex Go.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Breach is a new gameplay mode that will be included in copies of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. For the first time, Breach will take an arcade approach to the gameplay of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, setting out to provide players with a connected puzzle shooter experience.

As a Ripper, your objective is to obtain and sell highly classified corporate data by infiltrating some of the world’s most secure servers, using the funds you acquire to upgrade both your skills and arsenal. As you play, the rewards you earn, including XP, credits, and booster packs, will allow you to face the increasing difficulty of the game.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Breach is a live game mode, and will receive new challenges and features through post-launch updates.

We are introducing a brand new game mode to Deus Ex. In addition to being a new visual approach for the players, the Breach mode broadens the lore of the Deus Ex universe. Breach also reinforces Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s gameplay experience with a totally different setting.

This mode will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC when it launches on August 23rd.

Their second project is a turn-based infiltration puzzle game known as Deus Ex Go, set in a stylised interpretation of the Deus Ex Universe.

As double agent Adam Jensen, you’ll use hacking, combat, and augmentations to solve the most challenging puzzles of the entire GO series. Work alongside your allies in TF29 and the Juggernaut Collective as you infiltrate locations to unravel the conspiracy behind a terrorist plot.

Deus Ex Go will be available on phone and tablet devices at a yet to be confirmed date.
