While the game has been delayed physically in North America until June 28th, the PAL (Both European and Australian) and digital North American releases of Grand Kingdom have gone ahead and are now available for purchase on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Developed as the debut title of Tomohiko Deguchi’s development studio Monochrome Corp, Grand Kingdom places players as the leader of a mercenary job. It is your job to assemble a team from a range of unique classes, and lead them across a battle-scarred continent to complete contracts in each nation. Described as an “Asynchronous MMO”, players will also be able to form an exclusive contract with one of the four nations, and participate in war with other players for the future of Resonail.
In announcing the game’s release, publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have also shared their final class trailer. To be specific, this video looks at the more speciality classes: Dragon Mage, Arcanist, Blacksmith and Challenger.
Expect a review of Grand Kingdom on The Otaku’s Study soon.
