In terms of guest announcements for the Supanova: Pop Culture Expo, much more attention has now been put towards the Sydney and Perth rounds which are set to be held in the middle of this year. However for those attending Supanova Gold Coast which is taking place next week, there is one more guest announcement relevant to those who love video games and film. Xbox Australia and Supanova: Pop Culture Expo have announced that Shawn Ashmore will be attending the event on the Friday and Saturday (April 8th-9th).
While known for his role as Iceman in the X-Men Movies and Mike Weston in the television series ‘The Following’, Ashmore is set to star in Remedy Entertainment’s Quantum Break as the time manipulating protagonist Jack Joyce.
In addition to attending the Supanova Preview Night on Friday 8 April 2016, Ashmore will sign autographs for fans and take part in an interactive Q&A panel on Saturday 9 April. During this session, Ashmore will discuss his involvement in Quantum Break and the challenges of creating a unique entertainment experience that blurs the lines between two of pop culture’s most popular entertainment mediums. He will not however be in attendance during the Sunday festivities.
Ashmore will also attend a fan event at the Microsoft Flagship Store in Sydney. More information on this event however will be announced at a later date.
