Quantic Dream have made quite a name for themselves over the last generation of gaming with their duo of story-oriented video games: Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. As was announced earlier this year, they have been working towards remastering both of these titles for a re-release on the PlayStation 4.

Sony Computer Entertainment have this morning confirmed that Beyond: Two Souls will be available for purchase digitally starting November 26 2015. Heavy Rain unfortunately has a wait associated with it, with plans to launch it on March 2nd 2016. Beyond: Two Souls by itself will set you back $59.95, and will come with an opportunity to purchase Heavy Rain on the PS4 when it launches for $14.95 – ensuring you won’t have to pay more for the two games separately than you would for the collection.

Those looking for a retail collection containing both games will be able to purchase it (at a currently unspecified price) from March 2nd 2016. More information on the collection will be made available at a later date.

In Beyond: Two Souls, players will have another chance to experience the story of Jodie Holmes (Ellen Page), a young woman who possesses supernatural powers through her psychic link to an invisible entity, and whose life intertwines with the complex Dr. Dawkins (Willem Dafoe).

This PlayStation 4 edition comes with a number of improvements including:

  • Enhanced 1080p graphics including motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows. The game also makes use of the DualShock 4 speaker to improve immersion when playing as the EntityDecisions are highlighted at the end of each scene and compared with those made by other players
  • Once you have completed Beyond: Two Souls, you will be able to replay the game in chronological order.
  • Increased difficulty in certain fight scenes, combined with improved controls for action sequences
  • Includes the “Enhanced Experiments” DLC in the base game
