Koei Tecmo to Release Atelier Escha & Logy Plus on PlayStation Vita in New Year

-

Following their localisation work on other “Plus” games in Gust’s Atelier franchise, Koei Tecmo have announced plans to release Atelier Escha and Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky on the PlayStation Vita. The good news for JRPG fans is that the wait for release is quite short, with plans to make it available on the PlayStation Store starting January 20th 2016.

Atelier Escha and Logy Plus is the second instalment in Gust’s Atelier ‘Dusk’ trilogy of games. Preceeded by Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, Atelier Escha and Logy was initially released for the PlayStation 3 in 2014. One of the major differences compared to its predecessors is the presence of two possible protagonists, with players given the option to take control of one character’s perspective when starting a New Game. Choosing either Escha Malier or Logix Ficsario as your main character provides access to new events and other perks while playing.

This enhanced PlayStation Vita port comes with new content, including brand new event scenes inspired by the Escha and Logy anime series. Additionally, it includes all the DLC from the PlayStation 3 version, a new playable character, new costumes and a series of new augmented difficulty missions and harder ‘boss’ enemies.

More information on this game will be made available in the coming weeks.
