Providing a new experience for online gamers and anime/manga fans alike to follow, Nexon have recently unveiled that their upcoming first-person shooter game Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – First Assault Online will be available to players “soon” via Steam and the Nexon Launcher.
At the moment, the game is currently recruiting beta testers, with developer Neople asking for players to help shape the game by providing their feedback. Players can register for their chance to partake in the testing period via the game’s official website.
In First Assault, players will join Section 9, an elite force of cybernetically enhanced combat operatives responsible for protecting society and fighting cyber terrorists on the neon-drenched streets of a futuristic Japan. First Assault takes place in a world in which society has embraced new technology, leaving themselves vulnerable to malicious super-hackers.
