Although a somewhat similar system has been brought over to both Disgaea 4 and Disgaea 5, one of the major systems present in the Criminal Girls video game franchise is its punishment system. In order to teach your party member skills and abilities, you need to trade in points, granting you access to a short mini-game where your success will determine how closer that character is towards gaining your chosen ability. As one would expect, this system is returning in Criminal Girls 2, which is set to launch on the PlayStation Vita in Japan next month.
This new trailer, available below, features some of the single and double punishment scenes that players will be able to access at some point in the game.
While Nippon Ichi Software America did eventually publish Criminal Girls in North America and select PAL regions (With a few localised edits), they have yet to confirm plans for Criminal Girls 2.
