Building upon the video they originally unveiled during the SCEJA Press Conference 2015 last month, Square Enix and tri-Ace have shared an extended preview trailer for Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness. The video can be found above.
Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is currently in development for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. A Japanese release date has already been announced, set for February 25 2016. A general “2016” launch window for North America and PAL regions has currently been given.
Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness serves as the first major Star Ocean title released since Star Ocean: The Last Hope in early-2009. Unlike The Last Hope which was first launched on the Xbox 360 and then ported over to the PlayStation 3 approximately one year later, there are currently no announced plans to bring SO5 to the Xbox platform.
