Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below Launches in North America, Launch Trailer Released

-

Providing an experience which will likely be similar to that of Hyrule Warriors or a Dynasty Warriors game (Given that Omega Force has served as developer on this title), Square Enix have today announced that Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is now available for purchase in North American markets on the PlayStation 4. This will be followed by a PAL region release (Including in Australia and New Zealand) over the next few days.

To mark this announcement, Square Enix have shared their official launch trailer for the action hack’n’slash game. Coming in at just under one-and-a-half minutes in length, this video provides a glimpse at Dragon Quest Heroes’ overarching storyline, the Dragon Quest characters who will make a playable appearance, a peek at the English dub and some gameplay footage. For those who haven’t already seen it, click play on the video above.

With the DRAGON QUEST franchise’s massive success in Japan, we have always dreamed of bringing the series back to Western audiences. Today that dream becomes reality, and we could not be more excited to re-introduce DRAGON QUEST to loyal and new fans alike through a game that combines role-playing elements true to the series with fresh, fast-paced combat.
