Ubisoft to Bring Zombi to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Mid-Month

-

Originally released as a Wii U exclusive launch title back in 2012 (Under the name ZombiU), Ubisoft has decided to end the console exclusivity by releasing Zombi on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC platforms starting August 18 2015.

Zombi once again returns with a challenge to players: how long can you survive in a dilapidated London that is teeming with undead Zombies looking to convert you. Serving as an enhanced version of the original release (Albeit losing some features that required the Wii U GamePad), this first-person shooter invites all players to dive into the horror, chaos and tension that Wii U gamers have gotten to know over the past few years.

A post on the official Ubisoft blog has confirmed that some of the improvements include a slight increase in the field of view (Which can be manually increased or decreased a little by players), the addition of two new melee weapons aside from the original cricket bat (Shovel and the Nail Bat), flashlight changes and a number of changes to make core functionalities work without the GamePad. One omission however is the ZombieU’s single-system multiplayer, which originally allowed one player to use the Wii U gamepad to place zombie hordes which would then attack the other player. Because of this, focus has been put on providing a single-player rather than a multiplayer experience.
