Australian developer Chocolate Liberation Front and publisher Surprise Attack Games have confirmed that their platformer Oscura: Lost Light is now available to purchase via the Mac App Store. This announcement follows the game’s PC Steam release on February 24th this year, and follows on from the 2014 smartphone/tablet title Oscura: Second Shadow.
This title follows the accidental hero Oscura, as he takes on the quest to bring light back to the Driftlands after inadvertently destroying the Aurora Stone – which plunges his home world into darkness. With the world plunged into perpetual darkness, players must navigate Oscura through the minimalistic yet deadly world that lies before them.
While featuring the usual platform mechanics of jumping, running etc; this time around, Oscura is able to claim four power crystals which will allow him to build or destroy obstacles which stand in his way, defy gravity and slow down time.
