While those in PAL regions will have to make do with only a digital release of the game, SEGA have announced something a little bit special for their physical release of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax – their fighting game set for release on October 6th 2015.
Both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita editions of the game will share the same special edition contents. Each launch copy will include a Bonus Edition Soundtrack CD – containing songs that are inspired by classic SEGA titles. Contributions from this soundtrack CD come from the likes of Teruhiko Nakagawa (Shinobi), Naofumi Hataya (NiGHTS into Dreams…), Kenichi Tokoi (Sonic and the Secret Rings), Jun Senoue (Sonic Adventure series, Sonic Heroes, Sonic and the Black Knight), and others. The soundtrack will be only available for pre-orders and a limited quantity of launch edition retail games.
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a crossover fighting game, featuring characters from light novels published under the Dengeki Bunko novel. Although not all characters may be recognisable to some, renown characters including Kirito and Asuna (Sword Art Online), Shana (Shakugan no Shana) and Taiga Aisaka (Toradora!) make an appearance.
