Things have been pretty quiet from PM Studios and acttil since they announced plans to co-publish rhythm game SUPERBEAT: XONiC back in June. After a considerable wait, the companies have shared information regarding PlayStation TV support and a new trailer for the title.
If you are like myself, then you may have found yourself taking advantage of the PlayStation TV a lot more in recent months as a valid alternative to a PlayStation Vita unit when there is a television located nearby. It has been confirmed that SUPERBEAT: XONiC will be compatible with the PlayStation TV unit. Because of this support, the rhythm game will feature two different control systems. The first will be standard button controls, accessible to those using either the PS Vita or PS TV. The second method of playing through the game are touchscreen controls, which will take advantage of the PS Vita’s touchscreen functionality.
Developed exclusively for the PlayStation Vita, SUPERBEAT: XONiC will be available later this year.
