With a less than a month to go until Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is launched on the PlayStation Vita in North America and PAL regions, publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have shared a new batch of screenshots for the game.
These new screenshots focus on Truth Bullets, which are returning from the franchise’s main murder mystery visual novel titles (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair). With the change in genre, the Truth Bullet system has received a complete overhaul – serving more as a weapon than as a means to determine fault with someone’s statements. Komaru Naegi will have access to eight types of Truth Bullets when going up against the swarms of Monokuma: Break, Burn, Dance, Detect, Knockback, Link, Move and Paralyse.
In addition to the Truth Bullet screenshots, there are also a handful which focus on the different kinds of Monokuma that Komaru Naegi will go up against as she traverses around Towa City.
Developed by Spike Chunsoft and serving as a spin-off title to the main Danganronpa games, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is set for release on the PlayStation Vita starting September 1 in North America and September 4 in PAL regions.
