Following their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD earlier this year, Square Enix have confirmed that the JRPG will now be headed to the PC as of next month – following prior ports of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy. This edition is set to feature graphical upgrades and select gameplay features compared to the original release, although unless a surprise announcement is made, will not come with the console-exclusive Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo.

This Steam edition of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will introduce a small number of new features including an improved in-game battle camera, Steam achievements / trading cards, scalable motion blur settings and a customisable screenshot mode.  The PC release will also offer full controller support, and for high end PCs – upgraded graphics resolution options. Other additions include increased blood levels and new character speed boosts.

Until August 18 2015, those who pre-order Final Fantasy Type-0 HD via Steam will receive a special pre-purchase promotion pack through a collaboration with Valve. This pack will give players access to a Master Chocobo as a courier and Moogle (Class Zero) as a ward in DOTA 2, plus an exclusive loading screen.
